1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing our website at www.thehairstylistyyc.com, booking an appointment, or using any services provided by The Hairstylist YYC ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services or website.
2. Services
2.1 Service Descriptions
We offer the following hair services at the price ranges indicated. All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD) and are subject to change without notice.

Hair Cut & Style: $70–$100

Short Hair / Barbering: $40–$55

Wash & Style: $50–$60

Treatment: $20–$50+

Extensions: $400–$1,200+

Roots: $90–$120+

Full Colour: $130–$350

Highlights: $180–$350

Balayage: $200–$400+

Creative / Corrective: Price upon consultation
2.2 Additional Product Charges
Colour services may include an additional product charge based on usage. This will be communicated to you prior to or during your service.
2.3 Consultations
Creative and corrective colour services are priced upon consultation. We reserve the right to adjust the quoted price if the scope of the service changes during the appointment.
3. Appointments & Cancellation Policy
3.1 Booking
Appointments can be booked online through our Vagaro booking platform, by phone, or in person. A valid credit card may be required to secure your booking.
3.2 Cancellations & No-Shows
We kindly ask for at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Late cancellations (less than 24 hours' notice) or no-shows may result in a cancellation fee.
3.3 Late Arrivals
If you arrive more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, we may need to modify or cancel your service to avoid impacting other clients.
4. Payments
We accept all major credit and debit cards. Payment is due at the time of service. Gratuities are appreciated but not required. Gift cards, where offered, are non-refundable and non-transferable for cash.
5. Refund Policy
Due to the personal nature of hair services, we do not offer refunds on completed services. If you are unsatisfied with your service, please contact us within 7 days of your appointment. We will work with you to schedule a complimentary adjustment appointment at our discretion.
Retail products that are unused and in their original condition may be exchanged within 14 days of purchase with proof of receipt.
6. Consultations & Patch Tests
We strongly recommend a consultation prior to chemical services (colour, bleach, relaxers, etc.). For clients with sensitivities or allergies, a patch test is recommended at least 48 hours before the service. We are not liable for adverse reactions if a consultation or patch test was declined.
7. Children & Guests
For the comfort and safety of all clients, we ask that children not accompany you to your appointment unless they are receiving a service. We are unable to accommodate extra guests during services.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on www.thehairstylistyyc.com, including but not limited to text, images, logos, graphics, and service descriptions, is the property of The Hairstylist YYC and is protected by applicable Canadian copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without prior written permission.
9. Limitation of Liability
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Alberta.
10. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our services following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
